On Jev AI, the chat workspace brings available models, a text composer, and your conversations into one place. You can ask for a first draft, request a clearer explanation, or continue a topic without starting over each time. A useful AI chat begins with a specific goal: who the answer is for, what information the model should use, and what form the response should take.

You do not need to learn an API or supply a personal provider key for AI chat here. Open the model selector to see what is currently available, whether sign-in is required, and the input and output credit rates. Model availability and access can change, so the selector is the source of truth for the conversation you are about to start.

For writing, AI chat can turn rough notes into an email, outline an article, suggest a more direct introduction, or adapt a paragraph for a different audience. For example: “Rewrite this support reply in a calm tone, keep the refund policy unchanged, and limit it to 120 words.” Include the original text and any facts that must remain accurate. The result is a draft for you to check, not a replacement for your source material.

For learning, use AI chat to unpack an unfamiliar concept, compare two approaches, or ask for an example at your current level. A follow-up such as “Explain the second step using a simple analogy” often works better than repeating the first question. If you need a factual answer for a consequential decision, verify it against a reliable source before relying on it.

For coding, AI chat can explain an error message, walk through a short function, propose test cases, or help you think through a change. Share the relevant code, the expected behavior, and what happened instead. Review suggested code in your own environment, especially around security, data handling, and dependencies. AI chat also helps with planning: turn a loose goal into a checklist, compare options, or identify the information still needed to decide.

A brief rewrite and a long technical discussion may call for different models. The selector lists the models currently offered in this workspace and shows input and output rates alongside context limits. Check those details before sending a long prompt or continuing an extended AI chat. A model with a larger context limit can consider more supplied text, but it still needs clear instructions and your review of the result.

Availability is not a promise that every named model can be used in every session. Some choices require an account, and supported guest options may have limits. If you are comparing answers, keep the question and context the same across conversations so differences are easier to understand. Do not treat a polished response as proof of accuracy; check facts and test any code that matters.

On the Jev AI homepage, the Playground shows how fixed questions and decision rules can classify text, score a criterion, or answer a yes/no question as the input changes. For instance, a support ticket might be routed to a team and assessed for urgency. That is different from asking AI chat to draft the reply that an agent might send after reviewing the ticket.

Jev AI uses platform credits for signed-in AI chat. The selected model and token usage determine the applicable charge; the model selector shows its input and output rates. Supported guest models can offer limited free AI chat when guest access is enabled, but other models may require sign-in. Your current balance and access information appear in the workspace, so you can decide before sending.

Signed-in conversations are saved to your account and can be reopened from the sidebar. Guest AI chat records remain in the current browser and may not be available on another device or after local browser data is cleared. For work you want to revisit, sign in before depending on that history. Start a new conversation when you change topics substantially, and keep follow-ups together when they build on the same context.
